Mindjammer – A “Must-Have” Game at GenCon (IPR Booth #2221)

Mindjammer from Sarah Newton’s Mindjammer Press is one of my favorite games of the year, and it will hopefully be a breakout game at Gen Con.”

So says Chris Helton of the Dorkland blog, writing on Bleeding Cool this week in his article “The Five Must-Have Gen Con Games“. We’re totally stoked that Mindjammer is sitting alongside such RPG industry luminaries as Numenera, 13th Age, Castles and Crusades, and Achtung! Cthulhu as one of Bleeding Cool’s “Must-Have” games at GenCon 2014, taking place this week (August 14-17) in Indianapolis.

Mindjammer will of course be at GenCon – you can pick up your 500-page hardback of our standalone Fate Core transhuman science-fiction roleplaying game at the Indie Press Revolution (IPR) booth (booth #2221), together with a complementary PDF version of the game. There are also two games of Mindjammer being played – Hearts & Minds at 2pm on Thursday, and A Quiet Extraction at 8pm on Saturday – and check out Games on Demand, too.

Wishing all attendees a great GenCon 2014!

The Monsters & Magic RPG at GenCon 2013

This week at GenCon 2013, our “old school fantasy – new school play” RPG Monsters & Magic is launching in print version at the Chronicle City booth (1751). By ENnie Award-winning game designer Sarah Newton, and featuring a gorgeous cover by Jason Juta, interior art by such industry stalwarts as Jennell Jaquays, Linda Jones, Eric Lofgren, Brad McDevitt, and Gill Pearce, and maps by Rich LeDuc, Monsters & Magic is a 140-page softback containing all you need to play your classic old school modules and supplements with a new and modern set of rules – with little or no conversion.

Grab a copy today from Chronicle City, publishers of the print version – either direct from their booth at GenCon, or by mail order from their webstore, or in PDF from DriveThruRPG. Copies will be making their way into distribution to your Friendly Local Game Store soon!

You can also check out Monsters & Magic in action – it’s being played at Games on Demand at GenCon at 2pm!
